ABOUT THE BAND

Bone of Contention is a Los Angeles based independent rock band consisting of keyboardist, vocalist and songwriter Chet Cline, drummer/percussionist Dave Haddad and bassist Bill Pittman. Chet and Dave have played in various projects together over the last decade plus, and BOC is the culmination of that musical connection. Noted for a raw but refined sound with experimental and dark overtones, BOC transcends any one musical genre, however traces of prog, jam, funk, melodic and space rock permeates through their sound. Their self-produced, self-financed and self-titled debut album spawned two popular music videos and a follow-up full length LP entitled Ad Nauseum is scheduled for release in 2013
